Staying close
We believe dining should be a daily pleasure, creating moments of enjoyment, connection and comfort for everyone we serve.
Our menus are designed to offer variety, quality and choice, reflecting the diverse needs, preferences and dietary requirements of the people in our healthcare communities. Whether supporting recovery, enhancing wellbeing or enriching everyday living, we create food experiences that people genuinely look forward to.
We stay connected to those we serve, regularly gathering feedback, exploring new flavours and introducing fresh ideas. From patients and residents to visitors and colleagues, we believe great food starts with listening, making menu development a collaborative process that reflects the tastes and preferences of each community.
Constantly exploring
We are dedicated to continually evolving our menus, drawing inspiration from global cuisines while honouring beloved traditional dishes.
Beyond the plate, we design and host themed events in collaboration with our customers, enriching the social fabric of our communities. Utilising proven techniques we transform dining into a rewarding social experience.
All of this is underpinned by the expertise of our specialist nutrition and menu development teams, ensuring every meal is both nourishing and delightful.
Focus on dementia
While we serve a range of industries, creating nutritious, enjoyable meals that support wellbeing in later life is at the heart of what we do.
We invest in improving dining for residents with higher needs, particularly those living with dementia. From tailored menu planning and appealing food presentation to hydration support and adaptive aids, every detail is considered to enhance the mealtime experience.
Our staff are trained Dementia Friends and accredited by the Alzheimer’s Society. They’re equipped to spot early signs of malnutrition or dehydration and use proven techniques to make meals engaging and dignified. We focus on more than just food, we create dining experiences that nourish, comfort, and support independence.
Dining with dignity
Elior Healthcare has developed a training programme focused on Texture-Modified Foods, providing our chefs with the skills to create consistent, high-quality meals for residents with dysphagia. This training ensures that food is not only safe but also appetising, giving our residents the experience of dining with dignity.
When appropriate, we collaborate with home managers to elevate food service as a key aspect of care. For many families, the quality of the dining experience plays a crucial role in their decision-making when choosing a residence.
Deep respect
People are at the heart of everything we do. We take the time to understand the unique needs, preferences and experiences of the communities we serve, ensuring our services are tailored to support wellbeing, comfort and quality of life.
Building trust and fostering meaningful relationships is central to our approach. We achieve this through professionalism, genuine care and a commitment to treating every person with dignity, respect and compassion. Across healthcare environments, it is often the small, thoughtful details that have the greatest impact on people's daily experiences.
Good food from good sources
We take great care to source our food from trusted producers and suppliers who share our commitment to quality and safety. Each supplier undergoes a thorough vetting process to ensure they meet our high standards for health, safety, and food quality.
Wherever possible, we prioritise regional and local sourcing, favouring fresh, in-season ingredients. This approach not only supports British agriculture but also helps minimise the energy used in food production, transportation, and refrigeration. By choosing local and seasonal produce, we contribute to a more sustainable food system and offer our customers fresher, more flavourful meals.
